Got an update from unhappy 1993......

Hello Thank you for your other emails :) ..

My meeting went okay i got the NYAS people to to do the talking for me as the where to many people in the room and i couldnt talk because i wasnt confident enough , they
suggested a place called HOPE but my phycastric does not think it will help me as he is
trying to say that i am not following tier 2 and tier 3 of CAMHS but my parents and the
school no that i am following tier 2 and tier 3 , My phycastric wants to make a meeting
just with my mum and dad on the 5th nov and see what other options he can proivde but to be onhist iv had enough with my phycastric because he just goes around in ciracles and mum said to me after this meeting if he does NOT doing anything or willing to help then she is going to put in a complaint in about him and she said i can choose another person to see , As for school i gave them the ideas what i wrote and they have provided some of them the ideas and put them into place and all of my subject teachers have recevied a copy of them to so we all no where we stand but school is still saying that its hard because there running out of recources to help me this is why people suggested the HOPe service in my meeting . I am still in contact with the NYAS people as they told me to keep in contact with them and let them no whats happing . The school is going to do a review meeting after a few months with the same people who was in my meeting before , school is helping a bit better then before even no they are stroppy. Also i got told that i have a (PSP) meeitng in dec as well but i dont no why as i was on PSP last year but then in my last PSP meeting they said that they would take me off this year but the child protection officer at my school said im still on it and we are going to have a meeting they just are really confusing . I also posted a comment on your quick answers about my periods and about eating .

Hi unhappy 1993, thanks for letting us know what's been happening.

From what you say things seem to have come together a bit more for you. The NYAS
seem to be very helpful. Your school seems to be better co-ordinated, and we're glad
they've listened to what you had to say and put some of your ideas into practice. Try not to take it personally if they're a bit stroppy because it does sound as though they're trying.

There does still seem to be a bit of bureaucratic confusion: whether you're following
CAMHS Tiers or not, and whether you're still on the PSP. But we'd suggest not to worry about that and just try to focus on the day-to-day things. You may still be on the PSP and the meeting in December might be to decide whether you need to continue on the Programme.

It sounds as though your psychiatrist is on his last chance; we hope something good
does come out of your parents' meeting with him and you're able to make some progress in your treatment. If not, we hope you can get someone who you're better able to work with.

It sounds as though you'll be able to stay in school for a while yet in spite of them saying that they're getting short of resources, as you say that the review meeting isn't for a few months. We hope that what's in place for you now continues to work well.
