Q2A

Got an update from unhappy 1993......

Hello ,
I have to have another meeting at school asap again because the school can not cope
and im on the edge of them stopping me from going to school i have to have a massive
meeting with my headyear , assistant head of my year , principal , vice princepal ,
assistant principal of my year group , education welfare officre , NYAS - Advocate ,
parents , phycastric etc as the school can NOT cope with my illness and i seem to be
having loads of probelms in school and the school told my dad that i really really do need
help because they cant cope there sleves and they dont no what to do .

I went to my main support people today but they all got fed up with me and started to
shout at me which made me feel worse so i went and spoke to the vice princpal and he
said that really need to arrange a meeting and he took me back to my english lesson but
then he had to come back and collect me as i was in tears and i couldnt cope cope .

Things are just to much and getting out of hand but i cant rellay do nothing till this meeting gets sorted out .

The education welfare officer just called my mum while i am typing this to you as he said the school should be doing what they have been told to do and he wants to be in this meeting .

Because the way i feel is that i do NOT want to go to school no more because im fed up .

This is our reply.......

Hi unhappy 1993.

We're sorry to hear that things appear to be not working out for you at school again.
There seems to be a conflict between what the education welfare officer says your school should be doing, and what your school feels it can realistically do given their resources. So we can appreciate why you feel that you don't want to go. We are glad that NYAS are there, we hope they are able to help put your and your parents point of view across firmly. We hope this meeting can come to a decision that you and everybody else can live with. We wish you good luck with it.

We recognise that having to wait for the outcome of yet another meeting will be frustrating for you, but just try to take it one day at a time. Try to go to school in the best frame of mind that you can muster and do your best to get through the day. We don't know how you feel about Christmas etc. but it's not long off, and at least it will give you a break from school.

Thanks for letting us know how things are. Keep in touch and take care.

Best wishes from q2a.
