What we suggest...
Hi teckno
Thanks very much for your email in which you talk about kitsunes in such a committed way.
We were wondering what 'kitsunes' are as it something we have not come across before and have found information @ http://wikipedia.org/wiki/kitsune about kitsunes. It tells us that 'kitsune' is the Japanese word for 'fox' a common subject in Japanese folklore. They sound like they are portrayed as very special beings who are intelligent often possessing magical powers that increase with age and wisdom. Evidently in Japan many years ago foxes and human beings lived side by side and perhaps this is one of the reasons that a kitsune is seen as a creature that can be trusted.
On the other hand @ http://www.angelfire.com/mn3/pokegirls/pokedex_IM.html#Kitsune it talks about Kitsune being a mischievous Fox Pokegirl, perhaps not with any malicious intent but more in the way of creating confusions or playing pranks.
We think that kitsunes might be a sort of fantasy creatures that you may have discovered via the Internet, comics, animation or role play.
We are uncertain about your enquiry as the message you have sent us is more of a statement than an enquiry. What we would say, however, is try not to become too immersed in a fantasy. Know that there will be people around you who you can have confidence in - maybe family, friends, teachers and others that you contact or talk to.
However, we realise that talking to people in chat rooms on the Internet is often all part of being involved in activities such as fantasy role play and you should always remember to keep yourself safe on the Internet:-
Don't give out any personal information such as your name, address, school, mobile number or email address. Think carefully about meeting your online friends in the real world. They may not be who they say they are. If you do, arrange to meet in a public place, don't get in a car with them or go to their house. Either take someone with you and definitely tell someone where you're going and when you'll be back.
It is okay to enjoy activities such as fantasy role play, animation, comics and ideas from other cultures. Such activities encourage creativity, develop strategies and make for valuable relaxation and leisure time. However, as we have said, sometimes it is very easy to become totally absorbed in this kind of world and it's good to think about your own real world. In fact thinking about the words in your email, try to give some consideration to sometimes replacing the word 'kitsune' with 'human being' as in:-
'always be honest with our fellow human beings' and 'always be respectful of other human beings'
We hope that you will find our response helpful and just thinking about what you say about calling a fellow kitsune if you have any problems, you could also get in touch with us again if you want to talk further about this or anything else that may concern you.
Good Luck
Best Wishes
