Q2A
Got a quick question about......
how do you get sycamores to grow?
This is our reply.......
First the helicopter seed needs to dry out and then be kept at 40 degrees F/ 5 degrees C or colder for about 3months. Then plant them in moist soil in a large pot. Cover them lightly and leave outdoors watering it now and again so it stays moist but not sodden. Some of the seedlings will hopefully germinate and start to come up in the Spring. Wait til they are about 4 inches tall then put them into bigger pots. When they are a foot tall they are big enough to go into the ground.
