What we suggest...
Hi pishpu, thanks for contacting q2a.
Here's what we've been able to find for Halloween in Doncaster. We note that Doncaster's schools are on holiday for these dates so we hope you're able to get to something.
Tuesday 28th October (one night only), Doncaster Little Theatre: Frankenstein. A play based on Mary Shelley's gothic horror novel. 7.30pm-10pm. Admission £6 + £5.50. It would be best to book in advance for this.
Friday 31st October, Palfrey's Lodge, Acacia Road, Halloween Night Family Disco. Prizes, fancy dress and dancing. 6pm-11pm. Admission: free
Friday 31st October, Corn Exchange, Doncaster Market: Horrible Halloween Creepy Crawly Road Show. Heated vivariums containing snakes, lizards, frogs, toads, tarantulas, scorpions, millipedes, giant snails and a baby crocodile. Talks about the animals and opportunities to handle some of them. 10am-2pm. Admission: free
Friday 31st October, Cusworth Hall Museum and Park, Halloween Story Telling. Bring a torch! Under 15's should be accompanied by an adult. 6.30-8.30pm. Telephone: 01302 782342. Admission: free
28-31st October, Boston Park Farm, on A641 between Blaxton and Hatfield Woodhouse, Shriek Week. Open 10.30am, last entry 5pm, Adults £4, Children £3, Family Ticket (2 adults, 2 children) £12.00
Doncaster Youth Service may also be putting events on for Halloween. There are a number of Youth Clubs in Doncaster but we don't know which one would be convenient for you so if you contact the Youth Service they'll be able to tell you so that you can ring up and ask them:
- Doncaster Youth Service, Elmfield House, South Parade, Doncaster. DN1 2EH. Telephone: 01302 862495 / 734201.
The Bridge in Doncaster may also have information about local events which are taking place on Halloween, you can contact them at:
- The Bridge, 36-38 Duke Street, Doncaster. DN1 3EA. Telephone: 01302 734704
It's also worth checking with Tourist Information in case they add more events between now and Halloween:
- The Tourist Information Centre, The Blue Building, 38-40 High Street, Doncaster. Telephone: 01302 734309. Open: Monday-Saturday 9m-5pm except Friday 10am-5pm. Website: http://www.visitdoncaster.co.uk
We hope you can find something to interest you for Halloween from the information we've given you. We hope you don't get too 'spooked'! Please email us again if you need to, about this or anything else.
Best wishes from q2a.
