What we suggest...
Hi pin!
Thanks for contacting q2a with your enquiry.
You haven't told us why you need this information. Are you planning to go into a career in
the electric industry? Either way we believe the following information will help you.
A good place to find a list of careers is Connexions Direct's jobs4u careers database at
http://www.connexions-direct.com/jobs4u/. The simplest way of finding related careers is
through the A-Z search and you should be able to find a wide variety of careers linked to
these subjects.
For example, under 'E' there are Electrical Engineer, Electrical Engineering Technician,
Electrician, Electricity Distribution Worker, Electricity Generation Worker, Electronic
Engineering Technician, Electronics Assembler and Electronics Engineer. By looking into
these you may also find related careers.
Within each career it will give you loads of information like qualifications needed and
everything else relevant to the career.
There is also similar information in a book called 'Jobfile' which should be available in your
local library or Connexions centre.
As you are under 19, your local connexions will also be able to help you in person, the
nearest is;
Redbridge Connexions Centre
Broadway Chambers, 1 Cranbrook Road, Ilford IG1 4DU
Tel: 020 8514 9567
It's open 9-5 Monday-Friday, Wednesday it's open til 7.
We hope this helps you.
Best wishes,
q2a
