Hi, I am interested in learning how to sew cusions and curtains. Do you know any local
colleges who can help me with this and how much the course would cost?

Preston College, Fulwood Campus, St Vincent's Road, have a Soft Furnishings course,
starting on Monday, 19th September, 7pm - 9pm for 10 weeks, cost £89.00. For more

If you're able to travel, Alston Hall, Alston Lane, Longridge, run a series of day and
residential courses on various 'Creative Crafts' and 'Lacemaking, Embroidery & Textile Art'.
Some of the techniques learned on these courses may be transferrable to cushions and
curtains. Prices range from approx. £40+ for day courses through to £200+ for residential
