Q2A
Got a quick question about......
Please can you tell me something about HOPE in Guildford?
This is our reply.......
HOPE is run by the Surrey Integrated Service for Young People and is a joint
partnership between Health, Education and Children's Services. As you say, it's for 11
to 18 year olds experiencing emotional or behavioural difficulties that are affecting
their school, college orhome life. They offer a home service of supportive visits and/or
a day service of structured therapeutic activities for between one to four days a
week. They aim to help the youngperson get a better understanding of themselves
and their difficulties, help them find appropriate ways of coping, and help them
increase their confidence so they can manage better in their every day lives.
