Service Standards
Q2A will only deal with enquiries sent on the Q2A enquiry form accessed through the Q2A site. All other enquiries in whatever format will be deleted on arrival!
It is not necessary to give us any information beyond the details we ask for (age, gender, location) to help us provide you with appropriate information. You can read our full Privacy Policy through this link.
We will not disclose any information about you unless, in keeping with our Confidentiality Policy, we have to because we have reason to believe you, or a third person are in danger or may be involved in a terrorist act. You can read our Confidentiality Policy through this link.
Q2A reserves the right to edit an enquiry for the bulletin board for publishing purposes and that is obscene, libellous or otherwise disrespectful of named others.
Under normal circumstances Q2A will endeavour to reply to every enquiry we receive within three working days, whether the reply is to be sent back to an email address or to be posted on the bulletin board. Due to the often unpredictable nature of the internet Q2A cannot guarantee the successful delivery of emails or that they will necessarily be received within this timeframe. Replies remain on the bulletin board for up to two calendar months.
As the user of the service you can choose how you wish to receive your reply, and, if you choose the bulletin board option whether others can comment on your enquiry and our reply.
You can choose to have your reply sent direct to you at a given email address, and also placed on the bulletin board.
Direct replies are sent as a plain text email or HTML via Microsoft Outlook. Q2A reserves the right to change this format.

Copyright ownership of questions posted on the bulletin board becomes that of Lancashire County Council. Questions and replies may be used in any future publicity or publication produced by Lancashire County Council or their agents - every reasonable precaution to protect the anonymity of individuals will be taken.
Please note: The bulletin board is viewable by anyone with internet access! Users should take every precaution to protect their own identity when requesting that their enquiries be posted on the board!
Costs
There is no charge for using the Q2A Service. You may and are encouraged to use Q2A as often as you like.
Q2A will not be responsible for any costs you incur whilst connected to the service i.e. call charges, Internet Service Provider access charges etc.
