What Now? provides high quality information, advice, support and guidance to young people. These services are commissioned on behalf of young people and provided in an holistic and non judgemental way by Lancashire County Council.
What Now? serves young people in a number of different ways:
A freephone telephone helpline open EVERY DAY 10am - 10pm which provides confidential and anonymous information, advice support and guidance to young people aged between 11 and 25 in commissioning areas.
Accessed through www.q2a.co.uk this email service is free and and anonymous, providing as full an answer as we can within 3 days of receipt. Replies are either sent to your email address, posted on the bulletin board or both.
Information, advice, support and guidance provided by one to one live conversation by text message.

A support and diversion for people who feel like self harming but are trying not to. Accessed by sending the text saying only FLSH to
077 66 36 33 90 a reply will be delivered in response 24/7.
An A5 full colour handbook which contains carefully researched information on a whole range of subjects that affect the lives of Young People. The hand book also contains an extensive list of national and local telephone numbers which may be of use to Young People in their search for information and advice.
