QuickQ2A Question: What is EMA?

Quick Q2A Answer:  This stands for Education Maintenance Allowance which is a means tested benefit for 16 to 19 year olds who stay on in education.  To be eligible household income has to be below £30,810.  The money has to be paid into a bank account and can only be spent on stuff to do with your study like books, course trips etc.  The info line for EMA is 0808 1016219.
