Got a quick question ......

heyyyy its shane here im trying to give up smoking and was just wondeering if you do
anything like help with giving uppp ??? :)

There are many places to go to that can help people give up smoking. You can go to your
GP who can enrol you into a 'stop smoking' clinic and also prescribe you nicotine patches
or gum or stop smoking medication. You can join a 'Stop smoking service'. The NHS has
stop smoking services staffed by trained advisers all over the country in a range of venues
open at times to suit you. You can join a group where local smokers meet once a week or
have one-to-one support if you prefer. You usually go for a few weeks and work towards a
quit date. Find your nearest NHS Stop Smoking Service from the NHS Smokefree website
www.smokefree.nhs.co.uk or call 0800 022 4332. You can also order a free kit from the
NHS Smokefree website. The kit is packed with items to help you stop smoking, including
a wall chart to keep track of your progress, stress-busting MP3s, exercises to improve
your willpower, and a new toothbrush to keep your mouth fresh. You can also look at
www.quitline.co.uk which gives some useful advice and support on how to quit smoking as
