Q2A

Got a quick question from Monika......

telling us that her Dad had died when she was 10, that her Mom has now agreed for her sister to marry the guy she loves, but that her step dad is still not convinced....

This is our reply.......

Hi again Monika.

We are sorry that you lost your dad when you were so young and that your mom was
forced into remarrying again. It sounds like your family has had to go through some very
difficult times. However on the positive side by allowing your sister to marry the guy of her
choice your mom has shown that she doesn't want her children to be forced into the same
things she had to do. There are no set ways of convincing your step dad that your sister is
happy. However hopefully given time once he has seen how happy the newlyweds are
together and also by listening to what the rest of the family say he will realise that things
can turn out well.
