Q2A

Got a quick message ......

from a group of girls who make up plays.  Some of the girls take it in turns to play the boy parts
and sometimes they make up plays where there are murders.  The girls that play the boys parts
get the best roles then. One girl told us that she never plays a boys part so she sometimes

ends up as the murder victim, but not all the time.  She noted that the girls who play the boys
roles are never the murder victim.

This is our reply.......

We are glad to hear from another group of young film-makers.  This group seem to have sorted out

taking turns a bit more than some of the other groups who have emailed us.  To share out all the roles

so that everyone gets a turn to be everything - cos that's how to find out if you really enjoy playing the

different roles or not, you could try pulling names out of a hat to decide who takes which role rather than

just bagging them like it sounds like you do at the moment.  That way people who aren't quite as brave as

others will get a fair chance with everyone else.
