Got a quick question ......

 

can you get told off by the police if you dont rid of someone's number after they have told
you to get rid of it?

This is our reply.......

We don't think that the police will have any interest in this. If someone asks you to delete
their details from your phone then it would probably be reasonable to do that. If you decide
not to do that then do remember that the person has asked you to because they do
not want you to contact them any more - for what ever reason, so it would be unwise to
contact them. If you did so, and continued to do so, they could then make a case that
they were being harrassed by you to the police, who might or might not take it further.
