Q2A
Got a quick question about......
MCAT
This is our reply.......
MCAT is a name given to 4-methylmethcathinone (4-MMC) and is also known as
Mephedrone. Its a stimulant drug with effects like MDMA, so producing feelings of
euphoria, alertness, talkativeness and empathy. But it can also cause anxiety and
paranoid states and because it overstimulates the heart and nervous system it can cause
fits. Its a white or off white powder and is found on sale on the internet as a legal high and
described as a plant food or research chemical, not for human consumption. Its definitely
dangerous to take alcohol at the same time and something like this is pretty dangerous
because you cant be sure whats in it, and often the chemical make up of the product is
constantly changing so the risks are high, and real, but unpredictable.
