As part of Lancashire County Council, q2a observes the County Council’s Data Protection policy. Within Interactive Services personal details are only known of young people if they choose to tell us. They are not recorded or kept by us unless we have cause to keep a casework record. The circumstances for this are described in our Confidentiality Policy. We do not ask for names or other identifiers as a matter of course.
Email addresses provided for Direct Reply Email Responses are not viewed by the staff who complete the responses. With regard to the other Interactive Services, phone numbers of incoming calls are not seen by staff or recorded by any of our equipment, the numbers of mobile phones used to send SMS messages to TXT10-2-10 cannot be viewed by those answering the enquiries. Users of WebTalk provide us with a pseudonym of their own choosing. We are keen to preserve the anonymity of users of the service. The q2a website does not use cookies.
