Hi Leroy

Here is our Mission Statement for the new Young People's Service in Lancashire;

In Lancashire we want all YOUNG PEOPLE to:

- Take Opportunities
- Make Positive Choices
- See Positive Futures
- Be Engaged in Communities


As well as the Mission Statement the Young People's Service has a Lift Message - a short piece that describes in quick easy terms the range and scope of the services provided. Here it is:

In Lancashire we believe that young people matter.
We want every young person to achieve their full potential and lead the best life they can for themselves and for their community.
We work with 11 - 25 year olds in partnership with other organisations - with a particular focus on 13 - 19 year olds.
Lancashire Young People's Service;

- We aim to provide young people in Lancashire with regular access to opportunities to learn new skills, meet new people and have fun with friends.

- We support opportunities for young people to learn and grow in Lancashire whatever their ability or environment

- We provide information and support which is there to help when young people have important decisions to make about their lives and futures

- We want to help all young people ensure that they are able to make the best use of their skills in choosing the right options for them in work, training and education.
