What we suggest...
Hi, thanks for contacting q2a.
What you're describing is a sexual fantasy; many people use them to help them to become sexually aroused. Fantasies are scenarios that you would never act out in real life i.e. you wouldn't really masturbate in from of your Mum. In your own case it's the 'danger' of your Mum catching you in the act which adds to the general excitement. So to answer your question no, you don't have problems.
There are no rules about how often you're supposed to masturbate, it varies from person to person. Some people may only do it once a month, others may do it several times a day. So masturbating as often as you do doesn't mean that you've got OCD.
We don't know where you've got the idea from that masturbation is dirty. It used to be thought so a long time ago but it's now generally accepted to be a normal part of sexuality and a way of dealing with the increased sexual feelings that people experience during puberty. We agree that it can be messy but having a box of tissues handy will sort that out!
We hope you feel reassured by what we've said in our reply. If you'd like to find out more about masturbation here's where to go:
