2222 Asks...
i think i may be pregnant and want to know where i can go to get a pregnancy test as soon as possible
What we suggest...
Hi 2222, thanks for contacting q2a.
We understand that you think that you might be pregnant and would like to get a pregnancy test as soon as possible. There are a number of clinics in Skelmersdale that give free confidential and non-judgemental advice and support.
We hope you get our reply in time to go to Birleywood Health Centre. It's open on Monday 6.30pm-8.15pm:
- Birleywood Health Centre, Digmoor, Skelmersdale, WN8 9BW. Tel. 01695 724301
If you can't there Ashhurst Health Centre is open on Wednesdays between 6.45 and 8.30pm:
- Ashhurst Health Centre, Lulworth, Skelmersdale, WN8 6QS. Tel. 01695 732457
For your future reference the Infocentre for Young People, Unit 73, the Concourse, Skemersdale, telephone 01695 737190, have a drop-in clinic on Saturdays 11.20am-2.30pm.
All these clinics are drop-in, you don't need an appointment.
If you ever need help again in a hurry then you can get an immediate response by texting our Autotext service. Just send a text saying Skem or Skelmersdale to 077 66 36 33 90 and you'll get back a text message telling you where and when local young people's sexual health clinics are open. The cost to send the text message is whatever your mobile provider charges - so it can be free if you have free texts, and there is no charge to receive the text. This service works for all the main towns in Lancashire.
We hope you get the result you want from the pregnancy test. Please email us again if you think we can help, about this or anything else.
Best wishes from q2a.
